It is no more a news that Sri Lankan skipper Anelo Mathews had his wedding recently. Angelo got married Heshani Silva on July 18, 2013. The wedding ceremony was held at Cinnamon Grand Hotel in Colombo. I am sure our readers must be interesting to know about this lucky girl who won the heart of one of most eligible bachelor.Here is all what you wanted to Know about Heshani Silva.
Husband Angelo Mathews (Recap): Born on June 02, 1987 in Colombo and six feet in height. Angelo’s father is Mr. Tiron Mathews who is a burgher . Angelo dad is also a cricket coach. Angelo’s mother Monica is a Sinhalese lady. Angelo has a elder brother and a younger sister. Angelo came to like light captaining Under 19 Sri Lankan cricket team in 2006. He played his first One Day Internationals against Zimbabwe in 2008 and He won the test cap in 2009. Anelo, or Kalla as he is called by his friend, is the current Sri Lankan One Day International and Test team captain.
Heshani De Silva: She is the second child of her family. She is a product of St. Bridget Convent and worked in MAS holdings after finishing her MBA. Pet name – Hesha (Not only by family and friends but also by Angelo). Heshani is a good badminton player. She has been in few national badminton squads including Sri Lanka National under 19 badminton team, Sri Lanka junior badminton team and Sri Lanka National badminton team. She was in the eight place in the national badminton squad.
Heshani’s Dad: Heshani’s dad, Mr. Prasanna Silva, is a Chartered Architect. He is the one now looking after construction of Angelo and Heshani’s new house.
Hesani’s Mum: Heshani’s mother Shyama De Silva is the mother of three daughters. The first daughter, Prashani De Silva, lives in USA with her family. Heshani’s younger sister is Shenali and following a course in Information Technology.
Angie and Hesha’s Love Story: First met when Angelo played for Under 19. They were initially friends and then started loving each other but Angelo was the one first to reveal it. The couple was able to keep their relationship a secret to the public until the wedding day Heshani did not wait to let her mother know when Angelo express his love to her. Heshani came home that day and told her mother “Angelo said he liked him but I did not say anything.” Heshani’s mother had a trust on her as she is a well disciplined and courageous girl and let them to understand each other well. They married at St. Mary’s Church in Bambalapitiya on July 18. Sri Lanka president Mahinda Rajapaksha and Defence secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksha signed as eyewitnesses.
